Getting Started

There are two key tasks which must be completed in order to successfully set up service with SecondaryDNS.com.

Step 1 - Update the name server records for your domain.

You will need to add the following two host records to the name servers listed for your domain(s). This is in addition to the entry for the primary DNS server. They are:

UDNS2.ULTRADNS.NET   204.74.101.1

UDNS1.ULTRADNS.NET   204.69.234.1

Each registrar has slightly different procedures for adding host records to domain information. Please contact your registrar for further information.

Step 2 - Make sure the primary DNS server is configured to accept zone transfer requests from SecondaryDNS.com.

The primary DNS server must be configured to allow zone transfers from the following IP addresses:

    204.74.100.10

    204.74.97.97

    204.74.104.97
